He also holds a bachelors in classical guitar performance from UC and an associates degree in music from Sinclair Community College. Noah mainly plays classical guitar but also has experience performing rock and pop. Guitar: An exploration of a variety of genres with an emphasis on technique and precision. We will master scales, basic chords, and important chord structures. Lessons will include an introduction to sight-reading and music theory as well as playing by ear, soloing, and songwriting. Bass: Lessons will focus on technique and music theory. Through those songs, I can introduce many technical and musical concepts. It is very important that this is a positive musical experience. I began teaching for Pendragon's Music in 1990, and since had taught for 22 years at a couple of the local music stores. It is a critical part of my teaching method. I believe when a student is learning something they have a personal connection to they are more engaged.
