After starting college in 2009, I began formally teaching percussion privately and in groups at high schools in my area. I have since expanded to teaching guitar, bass guitar, and composition, incorporating compositional elements into all of my lessons. By High School, I had already formed three bands, and composed & recorded a solo album on my own. In 2013, I started my music degree at the University of Colorado Denver, and graduated in 2018. I’ve learned many different instruments since I got involved in music, but guitar is my main instrument. In High School, my music practice skills carried over to my academic studies and I was able to graduate with Honors, a 4.00, and earn 14 scholarships to attend college to become a musicteacher.
