I had my first student when I was in middle school (around 1993). Jumping forward a few years later, I started teaching again around 1998 while attending Bekrlee College of Music. At that time I was only teaching partime but quickly escalated to fulltime once I graduated in 2001. At my peak, I was teaching between 40-45 students weekly. Later I formed the funk/soul band Bacon and as the bandleader I wrote much of the music, and managed the band. We recorded a self-titled EP and received a grant from the Durango Arts Center to produce the album.Currently I am performing in the country duo H and H music, the pop duo Spacecat, and a funk and Motown cover band.Ihave relocated to Denver from Durango CO and am blessed withall the opportunities that the City of Denver has to offer.
