For beginning students it is important to learn standard techniques such as chords and techniques, I use songs and beginner method books based on a student's learning goals, age, and talent level for lesson materials. My students range from beginners to advance playing, and each student is different and requires different approaches. Evan Michael H. started playing drums at age 5 and never looked back. Born into a musical family, Evan got his first stage experience in a family band with his dad. As teenagers, Evan and his friends created the rock band Escapist and performed at venues across California’s central coast. In 2010, Evan co-founded the rock band STAGE 11 where he's performed drums and other percussion across three albums, multiple residencies, and dozens of independent concerts across LA, including opening for Jefferson Starship at Whisky-a-Go-Go in 2018.
