I started drum lessons when I was 12. I started playing in hotels at 15 years of age with show bands and rock bands. I have played with high school bands at Carnegie Hall in New York and traveled to many places because of music. When I went off to graduate school my long time band mate went on the road as a professional musician. But I never stopped playing. I have played in Concert Band, Rock bands, Jazz Bands and more.I was always to go to drummer when someone needed a great drummer. Read More

My teaching style is centered around a profound belief that goes beyond simply instructing students to play their instruments. It's about nurturing a lifelong love for music itself and ensuring that music becomes a source of enrichment that enhances their lives forever. While I recognize that not all of my students aspire to become professional musicians, I am passionate about instilling a deep appreciation for music that transcends their time in my studio. I started playing guitar in 2000 and began teaching people my freshman year (2003)for extra money while earning my Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana. I have been giving lessons ever since then. I have an extreme passion for playing and try to encourage my students to find the same passion. When teaching I mix the lesson with the basics and theory while incorporating the music styles of their favorite players and bands. Read More

My teaching journey began during my college years, and for the past ten years, I've been sharing my musical expertise by offering private lessons. Over the last five years, I've consistently taught students in my home studio. One of the key principles I prioritize, especially with younger students, is instilling the importance of regular, consistent practice. I firmly believe that this practice routine not only facilitates progress but also ignites a passion for the instrument. Read More
