I'm very passionate to share my love for music with students that are eager to learn. I started playing the violin at the age of 5 and switched to the viola at the end of middle school. I'm born in Bulgaria, and in 2011 moved to the United States to pursue my higher education. I completed a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Viola Performance, at the University of Georgia. My teaching experience started in musical theatre as a writer when I was 17. I was the bassist in an original production. My more recent experience has been as an educational artist for Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Ga. I’ve had private students from all ages and ethnic backgrounds. The awesome thing about teaching music is that no matter what language one may speak we all can communicate through music. Learning that each student has their own pace at learning an instrument is also very important on both sides tof the teacher and student, so using whatever to help a student grasp how to play is key. Teaching provides me with an opportunity to share my love of music with those who want to learn to become better vocalists.
