I'm a passionalte and motivated flute instructor who loves working with students of all ages. I am committed to shaaring my love of music with all my students. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in 1989. Until that time, I was a member of the local symphony as well as playing in other symphonies, musical theater, private events, chamber groups, etc. I then moved to Dallas, TX where I attended and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a master's in Music Education and Flute Performance. I started my teaching carreer in 1994, teaching doublebass and bass guitar. Two years later I began offering guitar lessons. In 1998 I offered cello lessons. My passion for teaching has grown over the years, and brought me great pleasure helping beginner students gain skills, confidence, and a sense of pride and accomplishment in learning to successfully play a musical instrument.
