I also implement techniques from the Sheridan and Pilafian Breathing Gym to establish the fundamental mechanics of generating sound. I haven’t taught for quite a few years and have decided to get back into it with the right student that matches with the experience and talent I bring to the table. I’m not a jazz player, but more of a rock drummer that plays to what the song requires. My teaching style, while keeping a focus on the fundamentals of piano, also encourages creativity and exploration of their own.
