Teaching is something that I have always done, in addition to performing. I incorporate fundamentals and musicality with every student, but each student learns differently and has different goals. I do not have a set curriculum, I gear the study to the student, what the student needs and wants to accomplish. Once the students has progressed more, I use Suzuki Method books, and also, choose (introduce) solo pieces for recital performance. For adults, I find out what the student is interested in and find the book that fits their interest (and guide my instruction accordingly to engage them).
