Once students have progressed past this book, I use the Tune a Day series along with the accompanying scale book. This book introduces students to solo and duet pieces worthy of a recital performance. Later, in college, I continued to teach on the weekends, helping to cover additional expenses. Then, in the national guard band, I taught private lessons to several of my fellow clarinetists.
