I use a variety of materials for voice students. I may ask that my voice students purchase books of repertoire that contain songs useful for building on their strengths and working on their weaknesses. I constantly adapt and customize the lesson material according to the age of the student and the styles of music they are interested in learning. If a student has trouble with a particular concept, I might write an additional lesson for the student to get extra practice. For very young students, I create fun exercises in order to hold their interest.
