For beginners who are very young, I usually begin with the notes of the piano keyboard. Once the pupil has advanced to the highest levels of classical and gospel music, I will introduce more challenging types of music for the student to recite. I will hold concerts for the students so they can have their skills tested. I will also give memory tests to the students. Im a working pianist, educator, music director, and accompanist. My greatest passion however is teaching, and I try to weave that into every part of my musical life and work.
