I begin all students with the appropiate level of the Alfred's method. If they have had training with another method, I work to blend that method with the Alfred's method during the first month or two of lessons. Once the student has learned the fundamentals, I introduce them to the solo repertoire appropriate for their level and their genre of greatest interest to them.
