Since every person is unique, I work with each student at his or her own pace and try to match my teaching style to the student's learning style. It is very important that each student is comfortable with their playing ability and progression. I like to set realistic goals when it comes to performing and practicing. No matter the level and ability I always encourage that a student is excited and determined about their progress. It makes a big difference with the teacher and student. Typically, we dedicate half the time to warm ups and tailored vocal exercises for technique development. In the latter half of the lesson, we apply these principles into song repertoire that can consist of assigned repertoire appropriate for your vocal growth and/or songs you are interested in singing.  Sammy delivers immediate results for his students and their individual vocal goals.
