As I notice they are grasping the concepts and able to apply them I then like to find outside resources such as sheet music, classical, pop to allow them to enjoy and discover what they love most. I've been teaching private lessons for about three years. My teaching emphasizes practical drumming skills that get students off their feet quickly if they are a beginner, and help move beyond technique and shape musicianship if they are an intermediate player. I put a heavy focus on helping the student become a well rounded musician first and foremost through content that they enjoy. I have been teaching piano lessons to beginner students to adult students in my home for six years now. Most of my students have been children ages six to thirteen; however, I have also taught adult students as well. I am also willing to travel to the student's home with in my area of Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, Palatine, Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines and Elk Grove Village. I received a BA Degree in music at Columbia College back 2001. My Major was Music Education and my minor was Child Development . I also a piano accompanist at Tuesday morning bible class at my church Since 2015. I sings in the church choir for 23 years . I started learning how to play the piano at ages 7 and a half. I continue to studied music in grammar and in high school. I played in the Jazz band once in College and played the keyboard at the Jazz Summer Festival once 21 years ago. Read More
