I began teaching in my undergrad to help pay living expenses and have been teaching ever since in private studio, public schools, and private music schools. In total I have taught for eight years and change. I strongly encourage my students to perform in public and play music with others as much as possible. Moved to USA from Moscow (Russia) in 1990. Completed my education at Lehman College with MS in Music pedagogy in 2006. Was on board with "MUSIKA" during 2003-2005 (not sure). Which means not only playing, but listening the recordings of the famous musicians, reading the stories behind the compositions, making the piano study larger than only skills, but learning how to understand and interpret music.
