I've been teaching trumpet since I was a freshman in High School. My mother is a band director for Selma Middle School and frequently asks me to tutor students or conduct a group session. After High School, many private teaching opportunities opened up for me, including Hope Middle School, Red Wood Middle School, Clinton Middle School, as well as brass tech for Topsail High School and Clinton High School. Piano - I find that no one method book is completely standalone, so i incorporate several method books...Piano Adventures, John Thompson's course, Piano Pronto, and some self-composed music for my youngest students!  Intermediate-level pianists start choosing some of their own repertoire as well.
