I will graduate with a Bachelors of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music in the University of Cincinnati in December. For adults, I would also use Faber and Faber adult beginner books. As well as other adult beginner books based on the music genre preference of the adult. But I by no means think Classical music is the only genre of music a student should study. My high school orchestra director Heather Grier (world-renowned violinist and frequent performer with Andrea Bocelli) inspired me to pursue music education as a career. I began attending the Ybor City campus of Hillsborough Community College in 2008, which is also the year I began teaching music lessons full-time. I became active in student government, went on to become Music Club President, and subsequently won an Outstanding Student Leadership Award in 2011.
