I began playing by ear at age 5. I have perfect pitch and was able to play songs I heard after one hearing by age 6. I made my first record at age 16 and began to perform professionally. I attended Hofstra University and received a BS in Music Theory and Composition. I current am an MA candidate at Queens College Aaron Copeland Scool of Music. I have been greatly influenced by Gyorgy Sandor's ideas (author of On PIano Playing and a former teacher at the Juilliard School), but have evolved my own approach.
