My methods and practice is very student centered. It is my job whether the student is aware of what they want to learn to find out what they are most passionate about and nurture that to grow. From there, I teach chords, scales, rhythms and song composition. I work with my students based on their individual musical preferences and desires -- whether you want to learn how to play your favorite songs, how to write your own songs, or how to play lead lines and solos, I'm here to support and nurture your craft! The phrase "I love you" can transform from a simple statement, into a song such as "Speak Softly, Love" from The Godfather. From there, when a song isn't enough, "I love you" can become movement such as the iconic "Shall We Dance" from The King and I. Read More
