My music leadership experience began with competitive show choir in 8th grade - voted Student of the Year - and these experiences inspired me through high school! The show choir program director appointed me tenor section leader in 9th grade and Voice Captain in 10th grade for my ability to lead voice sectional rehearsals and provide pianist accompaniment when needed. From 2009 until 2016 I was on the faculty of the prestigious Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana. I also co-owned and managed the Green Room Arts music studio, where I recruited, prepared, and led several middle and high school student guitar orchestras on national and international tours and competitions. In 2017, under my direction, The Green Room Arts Youth Guitar Ensemble won 3rd place in the Large Ensemble division at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Ensemble Competition.
