At the same time, I work with the student to set goals to keep them accountable and making progress. I typically use Piano Adventure or Little Mozart as a basis paring with other fun music materials depending on students age. Once the students reach a certain level, for example when they finish the level 3a of Piano Adventure, I start to add Hanon, Czerny, and Sonatina in turn, and prepare them to play in competition.
