I am a retired Army officer and I performed with the Army Band for over ten years. I have traveled with the band all over the United States and abroad singing and playing professionally. I have performed with Opera Birmingham and I am a member of the Alabama Symphony Chorus. I encourage those ideas in lessons, and I focus on teaching students to play with musicality. For each individual student, I set reasonable goals for them at the end of each lesson.
