After graduating from Temple University, in 2017 I performed at the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA; the New England Saxophone Symposium at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; as well as a solo and chamber music recital at Smith College in Northampton, MA. My teaching experience goes back to my college days, when I volunteered at the Artists Collective in Hartford, CT as a saxophone instructor. I began teaching saxophone and clarinet lessons in my home, and music studios after I graduated from college. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also taught Instrumental Music in Schools. I love seeing a student gain an understanding of a concept that had been challenging. In order to accomplish this "aha" moment, I try to learn how the student learns best (visual aids, explanations, listening examples) and use that to help the student. I use popular songs that the student knows to explain concepts that can be challenging. I use stickers for younger students to help mark progress and practice journals for older students to help see how much was accomplished. Read More

Hello everyone! I am a professional saxophonist who graduated with a Bachelors degree in saxophone performance from Peabody Conservatory of Music in 2022. I am currently working towards my master's in saxophone performance at the Hartt School of Music, so I am relatively new to the greater Hartford area.
