I also have notable performances such as opening for The Marias (2018), and recording trombone for BTS on their hit song, "ON" (2019). Through having students record personal goals at each lesson I have seen how fast students can learn to meet and in many cases exceed these goals. Once the student feels comfortable with the mouthpiece and the long tones, I acquaint the student with fundamentals such as the positions, partials, scales and different types of articulations. For intermediate and advanced students, I focus on repertoire. Applying practices similar to what I have described above, I work with the student on playing repertoire with expression and facility.
