I am a driven performer, as well as an inspired instructor who learns just as much from his students as they do from him. In 2014, I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz/Commercial Trombone Performance. I have toured all over the country playing in many different bands, allowing me to experience many things in life that I never would have without music. Teaching is most rewarding when you see the student enjoying themselves, while improving on their instrument. I believe that each student has their own specific musical journey, and it is important to set realistic, attainable goals that help move that journey along at the student's specific pace. When working with young students it is necessary to set an example musically, professionally, and personally as well. Read More

For beginner students use the Hal Leonard Essential Elements 2000 method books. These books offer a very detailed and easy fundamental based method to start beginners off on the right foot. These books also utilize simple and recognizable melodies to aid in the student’s learning. For adults, I like to use the Rubank Methods, starting with the Rubank Elementary Method. These books provide a very strong focus in fundamentals for those who are slightly more advanced. Read More

I have been fortunate enough to play and record with some well-known artists, and tour the US and UK. Read More
