I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. When I graduated I started to see my joy was working with children and helping each individual get to their own "next level" and that is when I began teaching music privately. I encourage my students to enter competitions and recitals of which I help with the prep for and can conduct them there if need be.  Read More

I love seeing students realize their own progress. I always like to start with recording a first attempt and then recording it again once it has been mastered so they can see their progress. I focus on positive reinforcement teaching. It is very easy, especially for a new student, to get bogged down in not making progress fast enough so I like to make sure they see all the steps they're taking and also know where it will lead them. After basic musical skills have been developed I'll move on to more interesting solo pieces based on the interests and needs of the students.
