Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage my students by setting realistic goals and proving homework after each lesson to perfect for the next lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. My four years playing in the Navy was an experience in learning that could not have been accomplished elsewhere. I traveled the world performing concerts everywhere and finally ending up being the lead trumpet with the then brand new Orlando Naval Training Center Show Band. After leaving the Navy, I formed my own show band and toured the US for five years, playing night clubs and backing up such entertainers as The Four Aces, Joanne Castle, Bobby Rydell, Fats Domino, Dick Contino and Al Hirt.
