My teaching experience began in 2009 when I played in a marching band of concourse in Brazil. After one year as a trumpet player the conductor ask me to teach the beginner students. I taught there about two years and I am proud to say that two of my students followed the music career, and one of them is getting graduate at Sao Paulo University in music education. I always provided different exercises and in different ways to they improve technically and encouraged them to listen and play the songs they like, to make the practice not a obligation but a funny moment. I then joined the international singing group, The Four Aces, where I became their musical director, bass singer and trumpet soloist for 42 years, before retiring last year. I have played first trumpet with the American Legion Symphonic Band for 10 yrs., the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches and South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble, plus playing lead trumpet in several big bands in South Florida. I have taught in a variety of musical settings with a wide range of students and abilities. I have taught independently as well as for organizations such as the Youth Orchestra of Central NJ. In 2012 I worked for Camp Encore Coda where I taught trumpet lessons, directed the Symphonic Band, coached jazz combos, and taught music theory/musicianship class.  My experience working as full time music faculty for Camp Encore Coda sparked my graduate research on overnight summer music camp, which has since been presented at three major professional conferences in the music education field at the state, national, and international level. I began performing solo and touring around Europe with a Jazz-Funk band, The Freeks. At the same time I began studying at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland to finally move to Miami and graduate from Florida International Univeristy with BA in Music. I performed for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line for 5 years, which included teaching piano classes for the Royal Caribbean Academy.
