I have taught in a variety of musical settings with a wide range of students and abilities. I have taught independently as well as for organizations such as the Youth Orchestra of Central NJ. In 2012 I worked for Camp Encore Coda where I taught trumpet lessons, directed the Symphonic Band, coached jazz combos, and taught music theory/musicianship class.  My experience working as full time music faculty for Camp Encore Coda sparked my graduate research on overnight summer music camp, which has since been presented at three major professional conferences in the music education field at the state, national, and international level. In the first lessons, I explain the the beginner students the basic functionality of the instruments, the proper way to hold the instruments, how to produce a clear sound from the instruments and a Major scale ascending and descending, the one from which the first lessons or the next lessons is written. If the students already had books from prior music instructor, we pick up from the last lessons after answering questions t o make sure the students thoroughly understand the lessons from the previous chapters and he or she is ready to proceed to the next lessons. I began performing solo and touring around Europe with a Jazz-Funk band, The Freeks. At the same time I began studying at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland to finally move to Miami and graduate from Florida International Univeristy with BA in Music. I performed for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line for 5 years, which included teaching piano classes for the Royal Caribbean Academy. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Faber collection (Piano basic adventures) or Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
