I studied in Spain, where I won several chamber music competitions, until 2007. When I was 19 I moved to London to continue my studies at the Guildhall School of Music Drama with professors Sven Arne Tepl and Rachel Roberts where I attained a Bachelor of Music with Honours 2:1. In 2011 I was finalist in the Max and Peggy Morgan Competition. After my own experience with it as well as teaching it, Suzuki has great techniques and music for getting students experience in sight-reading, ear training, and memorization. With the youngest students I start with the fundamentals such as naming the different parts of the instrument and some basic rules with notes. Acronyms and games are always the best way to memorize the different rules. I write out detailed lessons plans for each individual student, constructed specifically for their learning process.
