While student teaching in Frisco I attended many workshops and had many conversations with experienced teachers about how to improve my teaching. If the student is a beginner I will teach them proper technique, how to develop good habits at home, and I will also inform the parent to watch out for these aspects when they are practicing at home! We will be working on short excerpts from essential elements book, and then we will progress to Suzuki repertoire. If the student is intermediate I will work on Suzuki repertoire, and scales, also most of my private students are in an orchestra so we incorporate their school music in lesson as well. Read More
