I have been honored to play at many venues around the world including venues in the Czech Republic, Florida, New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Denver. I collaborate with my students to determine their needs and goals. When starting out with beginners, I usually start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements for Strings. I then transition to Suzuki repertoire. I also include music individual to each student based on their interests. My methods are flexible and designed to draw out the strengths of each student. I believe that no two students are alike. Therefore no single method will produce the best results, if applied blindly. I attempt to identify the strengths of the individual and nurture them to build a satisfactory and most importantly satisfying foundation, from which we can build a successful long term practice. My approach to music and teaching is organic. I see commonalities of expression in nature and music.
