My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 3 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 1 year. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. Ive been teaching violin students for the past 9 years. Currently, Im a second year graduate student in violin performance at the New England Conservatory, and I will be receiving my Masters degree in May 2020. There is nothing more fun than playing music so I love to help build their passion for playing the violin/vla/cello. I like the lessons to be fun experiences.
