I'm a violin/viola teacher who is very dedicated and passionate about music and playing. I am also very kind to children in a fun and encouraging way to learn. I graduated from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music in violin performance. I continued to Peabody Conservatory of Music, University of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for Master of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma in violin performance. As a soloist and chamber musician, I am regularly playing concerts around the world, in countries like Germany, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Russia, Lithuania and of course throughout the US. Being able to share my love for music as well as my knowledge and experience through teaching others means a lot to me and I am very passionate about it. My beginners generally start with the "All For Strings" series to obtain the basic elements of violin playing. This curriculum provides students with virtually every phase of beginning through intermediate string study. I introduce solo repertoire that matches the musical interest of each student. I also guide my intermediate students through study of their current Middle School or High School orchestral repertoire. With adults, I endeavor to combine their tastes and interests with musical literature that is fun and sustains interest such as Mazas and Viotti duets. Read More

During my internship with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center  and volunteer work with The Cavalier Music Enrichment Program (both based in Baltimore, Maryland), I have taught music to over 250 students. From general music theory to specific instruction in brass, woodwind, and percussion techniques; I have had the privilege to work with students of various ages, spanning from sixth graders to college students.
