I am a passionate and patient instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education, with a focus on Euphonium. I have worked as a long term sub in middle school band and have taught privately since that time. I try to enable all of my students to gain a better more meanigful appreciation for music. I enjoy teaching and try to incorporate technique while learning music. Regular practice is a good habit to learn early on and I ask all students to bring a notebook to lessons so progress can be recorded. I have taught beginners of all ages as well as more advanced students, and have led group classes. I bring all my love for music to the lesson, and practice empathy and kindness with my students.
