As the student progresses with either instrument, I try to encourage them to continue with scales and to move up in their playing abilities and music reading. I start every student with basic terminology for the instrument. I work on bow technique and instrument technique very early on, I believe every student wants to play as soon as possible. Music should be fun and as such, if a student is not enjoying lessons anymore I do not push and leave the option to end up to the student and parents. In May 2014, I graduated from the Baldwin Wallace conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance. Since graduation, I have performed with multiple orchestras such as the Springfield Symphony Orchestra (Ohio), Richmond Symphony Orchestra (Indiana), the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, the Ohio Valley Symphony, and the Middletown Symphony (Ohio).
