With beginner students, I am starting from the fundamentals and using books: Essential Elements, Suzuki Book 12, one and two octaves scales and etudes by Kreutzer, Wohlfahrt, and Mazas. For violin, I start with Suzuki method and as they progress I add wolfhart, scale and solos for young violinists by barber. However I can teach without a book on any instruments and compose assignments as I have done in the past.
