I have been teaching voice for over 10 years. Since I had a passion for teaching I decided to go back to school to obtain my Masters and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees. While I was in school I had a graduate assistantship and taught voice elective students and musical theatre freshmen. I also had my own private studio while I was in school. My teaching experience began when I completed my degree in Music Education 10 years ago. Since that time I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages. As a teacher, I believe it is my job to meet my students where they are in their development, and prescribe exercises, repertoire, and information that will help the student with each of their individual needs and goals. While most of my career has been spent teaching privately in fine arts academies and in students' homes, for the past 7 years I have taught high school choir in Keller ISD.
