For the past 40 plus years I have taught music to children and adults in school and church settings, and at a performing arts center. However, generally, I will start with technical exercises to help the student work on a particular skill that can be used in a variety of songs (ex. tone production, vowels, diction). I also have a Masters of Music degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Instrumental/Choral Education.
