My love of teaching became stronger than ever after I recovered from a vocal disorder that changed my life. Everything I learned from that experience encouraged me to spread awarness of vocal health. Hello! My name is Noelle V, and I am currently a senior Music Education major at Rutgers University. I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree, grades K - 12, in May of this year. This has given my students great success. I have found that once they connect to their breath, they connect to themselves and their vocal mechanisms more effectively. After the breathing exercises, I work on vocal technical exercises for the first half of the lesson. During this time, I teach my students about vocal health, vocal agility, pitch, vocal strength, expanding their ranges, and much more.
