For beginning voice students, I'll introduce them to the basics of singing, such as breath support, tone, etc. We'll start with some classical songs in order to cement good technique, and then branch out into the different types of music that the student would like to explore. I started teaching private piano lessons while getting my masters in piano. I have over 25 years of experience and can adapt my teaching style according to the needs of the students. I have worked with students with IEPs in school, retired individuals who just want to enjoy making music, and very young beginners. Sme of my students have continued their musical studies and have been accepted in music colleges.
