For students of all skill levels, I begin by communicating with them about their goals and continue on with a gentle warm up. I then guide the student through various exercises that are designed to improve and strengthen specific areas of the voice, specific registers, problem areas, and so on. My teaching experiences have been positive, fun, and I've built good relationships with my students. My favorite part about teaching is seeing singers gain confidence in their singing ability and hearing their voices grow. I belive that any learning experience should be fun above all things. I learn a lot from my students, and I encourage them to take risks and opportunities to make them into better musicians.
