I use Suziki Violin Method, Bastian for piano. I have also been developing my own method, and it's dependant in the students agenda. I encourage the building of reperatore early on. I have also used Liytle Einstein piano method and varies products produced by Hal Leonard. I find the students goals are very formative to the approach I choose to take. Unfortunately, I've dealt with insufficient instructors in the past, and nothing is worse than feeling like it's your fault when you mess up as a student.
