In college, I tutored struggling music theory and piano students and felt it was the perfect way to use my enthusiasm for music in a positive way beyond teaching. Read More

From there, the student and I will assess what best fits the student's interest. Read More

I encourage all of my students to get as much performance experience as possible. My students can be seen performing all over Chicago. I have helped several of my students prepare for a role, work on their original music, and record CDs. Read More

My approach is simple: find out what the student wants to gain from lessons with me, and work towards that goal. To do that I try to break the larger goal into simpler ones, so that students can experience the journey of learning something new, and can not only meet their goals but exceed them and walk away with something they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
