I believe regular practice and getting as much experience as you can in various styles is key. I never restricted myself to one style of music, and if you don't want to, you don't have to. I did musical theater shows, but also performed in classical choirs and church choirs, teaching me various types of musical styles. I like to keep my students motivated. I like to set goals, not only for myself as a teacher, but also for my students. The reason for this is that if the student is working towards a goal they have a motivation to keep moving forward. An example of this could be the student's goal is to attend an audition three times a year, or they want to learn how to sing for a school talent show. Read More

My teaching experience started in 2002 when I enrolled at the Conservatory of Music. Initially, I accepted private students in my home whose age ranged from 12 to 50 years years old. Then, after some time I decided to join the YMCA Music Department in Manila, Philippines. Since then, I have regularly taught students at home and at the YMCA studio.
