In 2002, I graduated from Musik-Akademie Basel, Switzerland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal Jazz Performance and piano. I have performed with bands in Europe, South America and the US. I self produced, written and recorded two albums where I bring my jazz and south American influences. Something I have learned over the years is that regular and consistent practice time is our best friend as musicians. I, Michael G. Turner, breathe through music. My love for music began at a very early age and I was blessed to realize, very soon, that it was my passion.I began performing at the age of 13 on clarinet, in voice, and on drums and percussion. Most of my early performance experience was obtained in church, school, and in my older brothers' Top 40 band.
