Nothing makes me feel better than seeing my students enjoy their time with the instrument! Therefore, I feel that it's necessary to fit my teaching style to the student's desire. I start the first lesson by asking them about the music that they listen to to get a sense of their music style. Furthermore, I am interested in the student's goals for their lessons. After asking these important question, I can contruct a personalized lesson plan based on the student's wants and needs. Read More

For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guild my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging, fun, productive and fruitful, no matter their ability level.
