As a performer, I have sung in many opera houses and theatres across the country as well as in Germany and Italy. I supplement some of the things in the book with other literature and hand written exercise to help enhance learning experience. Since every person is unique, I work with each student at his or her own pace and try to match my teaching style to the student's learning style. I have created a series of teaching from various sources such as Alfred, Bastien, etc. I use a particular method based on the need of the student. I am a recent graduate from Dickinson College with a BA in Music- Vocal Performance and Anthropology. Some of my recent major performance experiences include two solo recitals, including one featuring works of all women composers; Natalie in Next to Normal; and Frasquita in Carmen. I have interned in Florence, Italy with St. Mark's Opera, which is where I made my opera debut in Carmen. I am a passionate performer and excited teaching artist located in the Baltimore area.
