My number one focus as a teacher is keeping my students engaged, and doing my best to ignite their passion for the instrument of guitar. I start with teaching proper technique, form, and posture, as well as the basic chord shapes and strumming patterns, and from there I teach songs that both put these new techniques into practice and adhere to the student's musical interests. I tend to employ the Hal Leonard method of teaching, following along with several of the Hal Leonard guitar books, for electric and acoustic guitars, also bass. Read More

For those with experience and established musical interests, I will form a plan and practice schedule based around the interest and concepts that the student seeks from theirmusical quest. Read More
