During the 1980s, Stuart played with the infamous Punk legend, Dean Johnson, in Dean and the Weenies. In 1990, he joined the band known as The Rakes Progress which recorded for Almo/Geffen Records. The Rakes Progress was featured on Late Night with Conan OBrian, MTVs 120 Minutes, and Beavis and Butthead and toured through the United States, Canada and Europe. This is why I like to divide lessons between fundamentals such as reading and theory, and apply those practices to the students' favorite songs. Thank you for visiting my page. I guess music found me. On a family trip to Mexico by way of Arizona when I was eleven years old I remember guitars seemed to be everywhere. I asked my mom and dad if I could have the toy. When we got home from the trip I registered for music lessons and the guitar soon became my favorite toy. After learning about their hopes and goals, I start teaching from a technical perspective to help them get a handle on their instruments. From there I discuss practice techniques, music and guides to listen to, and start teaching them songs and repertoire they are passionate about.
