I like to balance musical enjoyment and technical training in my teaching method. I like to see the students making new musical and technical discoveries each week. I encourage them to set goals such as performing in quarterly student recitals and to consider taking part in a Syllabus program that has advancing yearly goals. I use the Suzuki method especially with the younger students and encourage parents to become effective home teachers through coaching and printed materials. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student develop a passion for music! Therefore, it is my job to have each student progress at their own pace. I hold recitals twice a year as a checkpoint to see how students have progressed and to have them practice performance. These recitals help motivate the students to practice and give acknowledgement to all their hard work and accomplishments. This acknowledgment is what drives them to work even harder and progress even further therefore leading closer to their dreams as a musician. Read More
