Post Baccalaureate Educator looking to provide guidance to musicians on their great musical journey. My degree is in Violin and Piano Performance. I studied with professors that graduated from Eastman, Manhattan, Michigan, Boston, and Curtis among many others. For younger beginners, I will start with the basics of cello, mostly through the Essential Elements books. Once the student is ready, we will mostly stick to the Suzuki method, starting at cello book 1, and moving through each piece. For older beginners, I will still try to stick to Suzuki as a format, but will be open to letting the student choose what they might want to start playing.
